Functions
The Town Board is the primary governing body of the Town. The board consists of four Council members and the Town Supervisor. Town council members are elected to four-year terms. The Supervisor is elected every two years. Town Board responsibilities include adopting the budget, levying taxes, authorizing debt, negotiating salaries for Town employees, filling appointed positions and overseeing the administration of Town business.
