What is a blog?

A blog is short for Weblog (or journal) commonly used to communicate ideas and publishings to the public.

What is an RSS feed?

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. Content is published in a format for newsreaders to display the latests news when posted to the Website. If you use a newsreader, you will automatically receive the latest blog postings from The Town of East Fishkill's blog, "News and Views".

How can I get the latest news?

You can get the latest news by subscribing to a newsreader service or installing a reader on your PC. Here are a few to choose from.

How to I subscribe to an RSS feed?

1) Copy this Link http://eastfishkillny.blogspot.com/atom.xml

2) Open your RSS reader (Pluck, Newsgator, My Yahoo, My AOL, etc).

3) Choose "Add Feeds" option in your RSS Reader.

4) Click on "Import and URL"

5) Paste the above URL and select Add Feed.

6) Congrats! You are now signed up for a free subscription to the Town of East Fishkill "News and Views" blog. As new content is added you will receive new downloaded material automatically.
