Emergencies

Emergencies are handled after hours by contacting the East Fishkill Police Department at (845) 221-2111

The Town of East Fishkill is comprised of approximately 50 square miles of land and 179 miles of roads. The town provides the following services under the supervision of the Highway Department:

Trash Pickup

The Town "Dumpster Days" allow residents to dispose of certain types of debris at Royal Carting. These days are limited and require tickets purchased at the Town Clerk's Office. Please contact the Town Clerk at 221-9191, Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for further information.

You can dispose of debris at any other time by contacting Royal Carting (845) 896-6000.

Tires

The Town accepts tires at the Highway Department during regular business hours. Free of charge.

Water Districts

The Town Highway Department oversees the maintenance of ten water districts:

• Revere Park
• Pinewood Knolls
• Taconic Estats
• Little Switzerland
• Hopewell Hamlet
• Brettview
• Fishkill Plains (Dogwood Knolls)
• Hopewell Glen
• Four Corners
• Shenandoah

Billing for the districts is on quarterly basis.
VRI Environmental Services, Inc. answers water district questions during normal business hours at 845-677-3839. Emergencies are handled after hours by an emergency number provided to the users in each district.

Street Lights

The Town is not responsible for the maintenance of street lights. Please contact Central Hudson at (845) 452-2700.
