Functions

ARB approval is required for exterior architectural features of proposed construction, additions, alterations, or remodeling of buildings and structures in a B-1, B-2, I-1, I-2, I-3, PBN, PCP, PRDP, PRD and CRD zone, as well as any building in a cluster subdivision which contains two or more dwelling units, including attached and semi-detached units, and any buildings and/or structures approved as part of a special permit in any zone, except a special permit to expand a non-conforming residence under section 67-71.

Applications for Architectural Review

All requests for meetings with the ARB, formal applications as well as informal information sessions, must be presented to the Planning Board office with appropriate documentation not less than three (3) days before the Board meets, i.e. on the Monday of the week of the ARB meeting.
