PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

1.             Appeal 3793 – Casale (6357-03-283321)

 Catherine Casale, 1 Kennedy Blvd., Hopewell Junction, is requesting a 13’ sideline variance for a 12’x10 shed, pursuant to Section 194-107B(2) of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

2.             Appeal 2216 – Jackson Soil Mine (6555-00-135831)

 Verne Jackson, 80 Jackson Road, Hopewell Junction, is requesting a 2 year extension on his Soil Mining Permit which was granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals on July 8, 2008, pursuant to Section 194-75 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

3.             Appeal 3803 – Santiago (6558-04-800240)

 John Santiago, 528 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, is requesting a 1,930 square foot variance for a proposed 48’x60’ garage, pursuant to Section 194-107C of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

 4.            Appeal 3805 – O’Gorman (6354-00-750906)

 Christopher O’Gorman, 12 Tamarack Drive, Hopewell Junction, is requesting a 4’ variance for 8’ fencing in front of the rearline of his dwelling, pursuant to Section 194-98 of the Zoning Ordinance.

5.             Appeal 3795 –DiDomizio (6656-00-402416)

 Stephen DiDomizio, 93 Chief Nimham Circle, Carmel, is requesting a use variance to allow him to park commercial vehicles to be used to remove trees on a vacant lot in an R-3 zone located at 3384 Route 52, Stormville, pursuant to the Schedule of Permitted Uses

 

6.             Appeal 3804 – DiPaolo (6557-04-999431)

 Steven M. DiPaolo, 3757 Cranberry Lane, Shrub Oak, is requesting a 20’ frontline variance for a proposed 8,400 square foot garage on property he owns located at 237 Route 216, Stormville, pursuant to Section 194-123 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

7.             Appeal 3806 – McKenna (6358-04-795297)

 Jon McKenna, 39 Miller Drive, Hopewell Junction, is requesting a 31’ rearline variance for an existing 15’x15’ shed, pursuant to Section 194-107B(2) of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

8.             Appeal 3807 – Morrison (6655-02-569942)

 Mark R. Morrison, 6 Heritage Court, Stormville, is requesting a variance to allow the parking of 2 commercial vehicles (for tree removal business) at his home, pursuant to Section 194-52 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

9.             Appeal 3808 – Bechtold (6557-03-239195)

 Tiffany Bechtold, 150 Woodcrest Drive, Hopewell Junction, is requesting an additional 4’ variance to the already granted 6’ variance for an addition to an existing attached garage, pursuant to Section 194-17 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

10.          Appeal 3809 – Sibblies (6556-00-183417)

 Nove Winston Sibblies, 19 Brigam Lane, Hopewell Junction, is requesting a Special Permit for an in home professional office, pursuant to Section 194-90 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

11.          Appeal 3810 – Glennon (6459-19-609108)

 Paul Glennon, 11 West Taconic Road, Wappingers Falls, is requesting a variance to allow a swimming pool to be located in front of his house, pursuant to Section 194-95 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

12.          Appeal 3811 – Knoll (6555-00-605374)

 Bryanna and Tim Knoll, 18 Sidney Place, Brooklyn, are requesting a 500 square foot variance to allow a 300 square foot house which is on wheels to be placed on a vacant lot in between 185 and 193 Rushmore Road, Stormville, pursuant to Sections 194-105 and 131-12 of the Zoning Ordinance.

 

13.          Appeal 3812 – Cooke (6557-01-176910)

 Gordon and Megan Cooke, 12 Aspen Road, Hopewell Junction, are requesting a variance to allow a 12’x16’ shed to be located in front of the rearline of their dwelling, pursuant to Section 194-107B(2) of the Zoning Ordinance.
